Bangkok, Thailand - Places - 6a These murals adorn the inside walls of the edifice built to house the Reclining Buddha. Attempts to find descriptive material about them (a Buddhist would likely have better insight into these "windows into the schooling of young monks") but I came up with very little. They appear to be from different periods and (I read) they are at least 200 years old. My reason for including them of course, is because most seem to a have a homoerotic element to them. Certainly the opposite of a Catholic monastery for young priests!
