Introduction to Gay’s the Word (Bookshop, London)
2015 marks the 36th year for London, England’s gay and lesbian bookshop. As far as I know it has actually maintained the sames premises in Bloomsbury for it’s entire history. During my own 21 year ownership of Glad Day Bookshop Toronto we enjoyed several accounts with small British publishers and I made a number trips to London to search out both new and antiquarian titles.
