French River Gay Retreat
Introduction for French River Gay Retreat
Sometime during the summer of 1972 or 1973 a group of gay activists from Cornell University, Vancouver, Toronto, Windsor, and San Francisco headed north for a vacation retreat at the cottage complex on the French River (south of Sudbury) owned by John Scythes’s family.
