Nature in Sarawak, Malaysia - Animals - 4 Flying lemur with baby. Sleeps during the day, or at least tries to do so! About 6 meters up the tree trunk. Known as a colugo, an arboreal gliding mammal. Galeopterus variegatus.

The island of Borneo includes territory belonging to both Malaysia and Indonesia, plus the tiny Nation of Brunei. After initial research I opted to visit Sarawak, the Malaysian State on the island. The city of Kuching (or Cat) is the ideal place to stay while exploring National Parks and animal sanctuaries.
