Introduction for Writers, Composers, and Academics

A somewhat eclectic collection of photos. Many of them are of writers whose work was, and still is, personally important to me. Others were authors we had book events for at either the Toronto or Boston bookstores. A few were also friends over the years. As I’ve continued to excavate my image archives I came across a few photos taken in cemeteries of long deceased giants of our homosexual world. It seems fitting to include them in this gallery.

In retrospect I realize that I missed countless opportunities to photograph hundreds of writers and other artists who either had author appearances at Glad Day or were simply customers.
